Here's a great recipe to pop in the oven while you enjoy a little time in the garden.

I liked this roasted chicken. I have learned that I don't like marjoram, however, so I kind a sort of hybrid between this recipe and this one: http://www.funnytummycafe.com/2013/02/10/rustic-roasted-chicken-and-root-vegetables/ It turned out great! Love flexible chicken recipes.

For those of you that found the flavor of the chicken bland, try loosening the skin of the chicken and brushing the oil mixture directly on the meat, then replacing the skin before roasting. Really infuses the herb flavors!

Because the vegatables were not on a ? grate( something to make the vegatables higher than the pan) The Vegatables were WAY to greasy for me..I cook my Chicken separate from my vegatables when I am, Roasting or baking a chicken. better for you

This recipe was very yummy & the chicken was juicy! The only thing my potatoes were slightly undercooked but will cut them a little smaller the next time I make this recipe. Will definitely make again. My husband loved it!

I'm definitely a novice when it comes to roasted chicken but this turned out SO delicious that my family was very impressed. BTW, I used a lime (didn't have a lemon) and didn't have any green beans either, and I added a bit of Italian Seasoning (which is mostly thyme and marjoram anyways).

I have no complaints about this recipe. It was easy to make, great tasting and- -best of all- -everyone I served it to was extremely impressed (I''m not known for my cooking abilities).

Took a little longer for me to cook and veggies weren''t quite ready. The taste of the chicken was worth it though.

It looked so beautiful when it was all put together, and the chicken came out so juicy, but it was so bland, I was expecting a mouthful of flavors and I got nothing. Neither one of my kids would touch it after one bite. The vegetables were undercooked even though I had it in the oven for an extra 15 minutes.
