We loved this soup I didnt have Navy beans I used Northern Beans and I also used fire roasted diced tomatoes it was GREAT will be making a double batch ........ummmm

This was REALLY good. I was afraid it would be too salty because of the ham, but it was just right. I used about 2 cups of ham, 2 3/4 cups broth, and 3/4 of an onion instead of the suggested amounts.

This really is no fuss and delicious. I used a ham steak and diced it up. I prepared the ham and onion the night before. My husband threw the ingredients together after work. Served with some nice rolls. Inexspensive, easy, hearty, and easy clean-up.
