Nothing warms you like hearty chicken pot pie. This one’s loaded with vegetables and has a tender, flaky crust made with Bisquick® mix.

Ive made this a couple of times both times it was with turkey instead of chicken only because I was trying to use it up. My family has loved it both times & I will make it again in the future. I have made a couple of changes to it, I add extra bisquick to thicken the crust & also put pepper in the pie mix. This is very easy to make & my picky eater even loved it.

Made this for dinner the other night-had 6 extra people for dinner unexpectedly 7 was trying to stretch my chicken breasts 7 veggies to feed us all! Went ahead & made 2x what i needed so I would have leftovers for lunch the next day... I was REALLY surprised when there was NOTHING left! I did use the sour cream & broth that some other reviews suggested & cooked diced potatoes, garlic & onion w/chicken so the potatoes would soften up before baking. Kids liked it so well we are trying the beef version tonite! Perfect for a chilly winter night :)

Made this for dinner tonight. Delicious. Sauteed mushrooms, onions, chicken chunks, mixed veggies all in Italian dressing. Then added cream of chicken soup. No need to add milk or water as stated on a previous post, since onions and veggies leave behind liquid. Next add some velveeta. In a separate bowl mix bisquick, milk, and egg and pour over chicken mixture. Bsjr 30 min at 400°.

I made this for dinner last night. I had chicken already baked from another recipe and this was a delicious left over meal! I did sprinkle chicken seasoning over the veggies and chicken and toss in a handfull of cheese before I poured the Bisquik mixture over everything. My pan was larger than needed so the topping did not brown like the picture-more tan. However, it was cooked thoroughly and tasted great. I will make this again!!

The pot pie came out very good;I cut the chicken breast into small chunks and boiled it for a few min;also cut potatoes into small chunks and boiled it with frozen mixed vegetables. Mixed & seasoned the meat, veggies and soup mixture with Ms. Dash (usually don't use too much salt, cause there is already enough sodium in the condensed soup mix)Oh don't forget to add milk with the soup. The only difference from original recipe was I used 2 cans of the condensed soup instead of 1- so it's not dry like I read in other reviews dish being a little on the dry side. Second thing was- ovens vary of course....instead of having oven at 400 I had it at 375 for about 35-45 minutes/until the crust was a beautiful golden brown. This was a perfect recipe choice after Hurricane Sandy hit.

The SECRET to a really good Chicken Pot Pie is to add just a small splash of cooking Sherry (wine) to the total ingredients after turning off the range! This gives it the flavor of restaurant and purchased Pot Pies! ENJOY*

It was very flavorful and easy but a bit dry for us and needed to cook longer to get the veggies tender...will try with a little milk with the initial ingredients to get more moist and cook at little longer. If the veggies are still not done enough might zap them in the microwave for a bit before mixing them with the soup and chicken. Also I used a cup of rotisserie chicken.

made this for lunch today. It wasn't the best pot pie I've ever had but it does in a pinch. I seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper before I cooked it, I also added some milk to the soup so it wasn't so thick. I topped if off with a little bit of cheddar cheese on the top of the crust.
