EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

We've replaced ingredients with great-tasting alternatives to create better-for-you recipes that are just as yummy as the originals.

Why not try Chipotle Ranch Dressing? Just substitute cilantro for the parsley and add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon chipotle chili pepper powder or 1 teaspoon chili powder.

This dressing is not only a tasty tradition for green salads but can also be used as a dip for veggies.

I'm an American living in the Netherlands, and one thing I've really missed the last couple of years is ranch dressing. This is a great, easy recipe that makes use of some of the fresh herbs I grow, while staying in line with my weight loss plan as well. It has become a permanent fixture in my fridge. If you want to amp up the creaminess a bit, try whole-milk yogurt, but as written the recipe has a great bite.
