I made these the first time by only substituting the sugar with splenda and simple switches like that. They turned out horrible. With the second batch I made, I added 2 tsp. of baking soda. They turned out amazing! So add 2 tsp. of baking soda to the recipe!

I have made these several times and find them to be delicious. I have taken them to work and all my coworkers thought they were good too. I like making a couple batches at one time and freeze them for later use.

The flavor is very good, but the texture is dense and very cake-like. I think that will take a bit of getting used to. I cut the pan into 18 brownies to fit more easily into my weight loss plan. The yogurt as a fat substitute is a great idea - much better tasting than applesauce or pureed prunes.

My husband and I both liked these brownies. He'd probably prefer the "regular" ones but I thought these tasted very good. I will definitely keep this recipe on hand for a healthier alternative.

have not tryed this yet, but thought others may like to try my brownie recipe. don't remember where i got the main recipe but here is how i make it for 1 pkg of mix - cool 1 cup fresh brewed coffee with 1 pkg no or low fat cream cheese-instead of oil and eggs. then follow mix baking times. (I have walnut or peanut already chopped and frozen, sometimes i add coconut, since my family loves peanut butter - going to try using it instead on the cheese next time.)
