This recipe was pretty easy to follow! The dough is nice to work with and rolls out pretty easily. We had to use more flour as we rolled it out to get it to the right consistency, otherwise it was too sticky to work with. Make sure you don't make your pieces too thick. The sides of the A-Frame on ours started bowing and I had to cut them in half to make a house that didn't collapse. It's easier if you roll out the dough, cut out the pieces and then bake them, since if you mess up cutting you can redo it. If you have any trim work to do, since the pieces tend to spread out during baking, do it while the dough is still warm. The gingerbread tastes really good, a lot like gingersnaps! it's more of a dunking cookie than a soft one. We didn't use the icing recipe included, so I am not sure how well it does or does not work.
