I followed this recipe as stated however I did add shredded cheddar cheese to it before baking.I had no problems with it scorching.I heated it slow and stirred constantly and boiled it for 1 minute.I did use a non stick pan to heat it which may have been why it did not scorch.Very yummy will make again.

I have been making this recipe for several years now and it is always a hit in my house! I do agree with the other comment about boiling the sauce. If you aren't careful, it could get burned easily.

This is a very, very tasty meal, but a few words of caution. You don't want to heat the sauce until it's boiling. Heat it slowly until it's slightly thickened and very smooth. Then it's ready. Other than that this works great!
