I added chopped green onions, cheese and garlic croutons, crushed. Crumbled bacon and broccoli...and it turned out to be an awesome dish!

I added sun-dried tomatoes and onions to this recipe, as suggested by another reviewer and used some left-over ham (not deli ham). Also, I did not have straight Colby cheese...I used a mixture of Colby and mozzerella (sp?). My husband said it was one of the best dinners I had cooked for him. We will definitely be having this again.

First up I doubled recipe so as to use the entire 1 lb box of ziti, so instead of 2 cups Colby I needed 4 cups but I did not have any Colby cheese but I did have extra odds and ends of differant cheeses from a party we just had. So I used 2 cups mixture of differant irish cheeses ie. Irish Cheddar, irish cheese with spinach, also used about 1-1/2 cup regular shredded cheddar cheesea, 1/2 cup shredded mozzarrella cheese. OMG absolutely delicious...use whatever you have and be adventerous if it seems like it may be too strong modify it with a more bland cheese like me I used Mozzarella. This was so good I dont know if I will even use the real recipe with the Colby Cheese unless I only have that in the fridge.

Super easy recipe. I used left over Easter ham and added a teaspoon of fresh rosemary to give it a little more flavor. Also added some diced sun dried tomatoes when I mixed in the pasta. very rich and delicious!

It was pretty tasty, I only added some broccoli for some green color and a healthier bite.

The cheese sauce tasted a little too bland for me, so I added some Adobo seasoning, doubled the ham, added frozen peas and topped with a little crushed Ritz crackers. Viola! A HUGE success. Thanks for sharing.

I used egg noodles (only pasta I had in the house), double the garlic and leftover fresh (not smoked) ham. Also added fresh asparagus. Delish!! Next time I'm also going to throw in chopped green onion.

My husband and I didn't think this had any flavor at all. I felt like I wasted some really good colby cheese on this recipe. I couldn't even eat the leftovers, though my husband thought it was better the next day...but not by much.
