Oh my, it’s like pot pie! A tender biscuit layer tops a creamy filling of a tasty ham and asparagus duo.

This was very easy to make. I enjoyed it. I think I would have preferred chicken over ham. The taste of the ham didn't mesh well with the soupy base for me.

I followed this recipe exactly and it was very delicious. I did not find it to be too salty, nor did I experience a soggy Bisquick topping like some of the other reviewers. Asparagus has a strong flavor and the cream sauce complements that nicely - not bland at all. I used a bag of frozen asparagus spears, which were easy to cut up while still frozen.

I made this tonight with leftover ham from Easter dinner. It was tasty but I was not able to spread the batter over the top like the recipe said, even after adding additional milk. You kind of have to clump the dough over the top like a pot pie. It spreads when baking and turned out fine.

This is the 3rd time I am trying to leave a review for this recipe. I make this with fresh asparagus, Cream of Asparagus soup, low salt ham and Italian Cheese blend and I follow the recipe exactly. It always comes out perfectly. It is delicious and creamy and I never have a problem with blandness or texture. Whenever asparagus are on sale we can't wait to have this. An excellent, easy dinner.

I love this recipe but I make it exactly as written. I use the Italian cheese blend, fresh asparagus, the Cream of Asparagus soup and the correct size pan to bake it in. I do use a lower salt ham though but I don't find it too salty or flavor-less at all. Its easy to make and very good and creamy. I have made this often and it always come out perfectly.

This was great, exactly what I was expecting. I used Cream of Chicken Garlic and Herb soup because that was what I had. Also added a little Italian Seasoning, the flavor turned out perfect. Will make this again!

This recipe sounded good, but kinda boring. So I added 4 large diced red potatoes, 1/4 cup of chopped sun dried tomatoes, pepper and oregano. I increased the milk a little. I also added oregano to the biscuit mix. This turned out wonderful!! Flavorful and NOT boring at all. The potatoes took away the saltiness that other members had complained of. I wasnt sure how to rate, since I had doctored it up quite a bit, but give my version a try! :)

I really thought this needed something more. It was good, though very salty, but seemed a bit bland to me. I'm considering adding something to it next time like garlic powder, dijon mustard (idea from another recipe) or maybe a bit of white wine. I could handle the saltiness, I just really felt it needed more flavor.

My family really loved this recipe. My only complaint was that the bisquik mix on top was a little bit dough-y, or maybe just soggy after the casserole was finished cooking. Great recipe overall--it was extremely quick and easy, and delicious afterwards. No leftovers!
