This recipe for a crunchy, chewy bark is easy and fun – it’s a sweet-salty treat that makes a perfect Halloween candy.
oz vanilla-flavored candy coating (almond bark), chopped
thin pretzel sticks, broken into pieces (1 cup)
bag (10 oz) peanut butter chips (1 2/3 cups)
bars (2.07 oz each) milk chocolate-covered peanut, caramel and nougat candy, unwrapped, chopped (3/4 cup)
bar (2.1 oz) chocolate-covered crispy peanut-buttery candy, unwrapped, coarsely crushed (1/2 cup)
Line 15x10x1-inch pan with waxed paper. In large microwavable bowl, microwave candy coating uncovered on High 1 minute or until melted; stir until smooth. Stir in pretzels. Spread mixture evenly in pan, covering bottom of pan completely. Let stand 5 minutes.
In small microwavable bowl, microwave peanut butter chips on High 45 to 60 seconds or until chips can be stirred smooth. Spread melted chips over vanilla layer. Sprinkle with candy bar pieces, pressing gently. Refrigerate 20 minutes or until set.
Break candy into 2-inch pieces. Store covered at room temperature.
