Ground Turkey Tacos

Ingredients

Tacos

1: tablespoon vegetable oil

1: lb lean (at least 93%) ground turkey

1: package (1 oz) Old El Paso® taco seasoning mix

2/3: cup water

1: package (4.6 oz) Old El Paso® taco shells (8 shells)

Toppings

2: medium avocados, pitted, peeled and sliced

1: cup sliced pineapple (fresh or canned)

Directions

1 In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook turkey in oil until no longer pink; drain.
2 Stir in taco seasoning mix and water. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 5 to 10 minutes or until thickened.
3 Spoon filling into taco shells. Add toppings.

Ground chicken also works great in this recipe as a substitute for ground turkey.

In you have trouble finding fresh pineapple, substitute canned pineapple chunks. Simply drain the juice and use the fruit to top each taco.
