Ground Turkey Tacos

Ingredients

Tacos

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey (at least 93% lean)
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 8 taco shells from 1 box (4.6 oz) Old El Paso™ Crunchy Taco Shells (12 Count)

Toppings

  • 2 medium avocados, pitted, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup sliced pineapple (fresh or canned)

Steps

    In 10-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook turkey in oil until no longer pink; drain.

    Stir in taco seasoning mix and water. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 5 to 10 minutes or until thickened.

    Spoon filling into taco shells. Add toppings.

  • If you have trouble finding fresh pineapple for this Ground Turkey Tacos recipe, substitute canned pineapple chunks. Simply drain the juice and use the fruit to top each taco.
