I boiled them first for 15 minutes, then barbecued 20 minutes, turning several times.

When I made this recipe I put them in a glass dish covered with foil. They took almost 2hours to cook and still stuck to the pan. Next time i will try to par boil them first.

If your potatoes stick and you dont have the nonstick foil you can always spray Pam on it before you start. I also found that it is less salty if you cook up and use your own bacon bits.

If you are having problems with the potatos sticking try using Reynolds nonstick foil. Everything just slides right off.

We have been doing potatoes on the grill like this for years. You can use real pieces of bacon also.,

This recipe is awesome! Quick and easy! I made a couple of changes though: I used real bacon and I added the green onion before I grilled it. The results were absolutely delicious! My family loved it, and I can't wait to make them again.

The first thing I´d change is the foil wrap, because, it contaminates the food with loads of aluminum, and traces of it end up in our brain, kidnies and liver ! What I did was just change the aluminum foil for a glass container with lid. I put a thin coat of oil in the bottom, I also added garlic and olive oil the result was excellent! Also substituded regular salt for sea salt.

These were very good and so easy to make. My husband forgot the bacon pieces at the store and they were still good. The only thing I added was some garlic seasoning.

I'm going to make these but I'm going to line the bottom of the foil with strips of bacon, potatoes etc... All the reviews I read said the potatoes stuck to the foil. I think this will work!

These are AWESOME!!!! My husband I loved them and they were super easy to make! They kind of tasted like those little potatoes f/ Bob Evans - but waaaaay better!! I used spray and butter, but it still stuck to the foil pretty bad.
