Grilled Mediterranean Sliders

Our tiny, grilled hamburger sliders are a mouthful of Mediterranean flavor with feta cheese, ripe olives, Greek vinaigrette dressing and oregano.

cup crumbled feta cheese (2 oz)
cup sliced ripe olives
cup Greek vinaigrette dressing
lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
teaspoon dried oregano leaves
mini burger buns (about 2 1/2 inches in diameter), split
Hummus, if desired

  • 1 Heat gas or charcoal grill. In small bowl, mix 1/4 cup of the cheese, the olives and vinaigrette dressing; cover and refrigerate.
  • 2 In medium bowl, mix ground beef, oregano and remaining 1/4 cup of cheese. Shape into 8 equal patties.
  • 3 Place patties in grill basket; place on grill over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 160ºF.
  • 4 Place patties on bottom halves of buns. Top each with small spoonful of cheese mixture. Spread spoonful of hummus on top half of each bun; arrange bun halves over cheese mixture.

Expert Tips

You can make these patties ahead. Just cover and refrigerate until ready to grill.

Have extra feta-cheese topping? Eat with tortilla chips or pita bread for a yummy side dish or appetizer.
