EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Pork is a good source of zinc, which is important in energy metabolism and for growth and development.

Complete the meal by adding 1/2 cup cooked linguine, a small slice of French bread and 1/2 cup steamed asparagus for each serving to get 2 1/2 Carbohydrate Choices.

For moist and tender pork, look for roasts that have been injected with a brine solution.

This was AWESOME!!! Grilled this past weekend for the family. The responses were overwhelming in the taste department. I did not have the heart to let them know how easy it was to prepare. Thanks

This was the most awesome pork roast I have made in a long time. I didn't add the sage as we don't like the taste of sage, but it was so moist and flavorful and EASY that I am glad I tripled the ingredients for a 5lb. roast and we will have plenty of leftovers. The top was crispy and sealed in all those juices. Just wonderful
