I like to stuff these burgers with sauted green peppers, mushrooms and cheese. We first had this type of burger at a restaurant called Boondockers and have used it ever since. Simply use two oblong patties per hogie roll (patted a little thinner than normal), place some diced cheddar cubes and the cooked veggies in between the two patties, seal and cook as usual on the grill. Serve with au jus and a salad. A definite yum factor!
