My grocery store did not have fresh Jalepeno Chile's when I made this so I used jarred jalepeno's instead... If you ever need to make this substitution be careful of how long you let the chicken marinate as the juice from the jarred jalepenos speeds up the process. Great recipe none-the-less. I can't wait to try again with fresh ingredients! =)

Great recipe, but I like bone in for grilling or baking. Also, I like to marinate mine for at least 4 hours if not longer. It is wonderful with the Garlic Cumin Grilled Potatoes, but I bake the chicken and potatoes now that I am just not that into it lately. And I take my wonderful GE Rotisserie/Broiler/Bake/Toaster outside so I don't heat up my house........ works great.

Delicious! I used pork tenderloin that I cut into 2 inch pieces and flattened with my palm. I also did not add the lime zest or cilantro. The tenderloin marinated for about 1 hour. Grilled on a hot grill with the lid open for 3-4 minutes per side and rested for five minutes. Spicy but not too much. Sweet corn and cucumber salad made for a delicious and healthy meal. I will definitely make this again!

My husband and I tried this last night. It was a home run. I used chicken tenderloins which are not as thick as regular boneless chicken breasts. Grilled 4 minutes on one side and 3 on the other. Very juicy. Served with asparagus and grilled italian bread.

Just made this dish this evening and we all loved it. I will definitely marinate longer than 45 min next time to increase the flavor. I used fresh parsley and did not use the peel.

This was really good. I changed the recipe a little I used fresh lime juice and added 2 teaspoons of orange blossom honey and 1 teaspoon of essence of Emeril. It was yummy. I marinated for 3 hours and reserved some of the marinade to baste my chicken as it grilled. I also did this with wings great for a superbowl party!

My family really enjoyed this quick to prepare marinade. I baked this dish but will use bone in thighs and have my husband bbq next time. Light and fresh taste. This is a keeper!
