I used Laughing Cow's light garlic & herb spreadable cheese and instead of basil, I topped the pizza with shredded lettuce and a little ranch. I also baked it in the oven at 375 and they turned out great.

I usually buy pizza dough balls frozen from our local bakery or Great Harvest Bread Co. Thaw them and roll into individual pizzas. Put raw crust on grill until crusty on the bottom. Turn over onto a cookie sheet, top them with the ingredients, and return to the grill. This tastes exactly like the wood fired pizza appetizers you can get from a restaurant.

To Labs4me, I buy them at Wal-Mart. I think they are in the canned vegetable aisle. Made by Boboli, and comes in 2 sizes. There is also one made by Mia but I think it is a kit with sauce and all. Jacquita

I would assume that they would be crusts such as Boboli. This sounds good. Going to try it!

Where do you find "prebaked" pizza crusts? I would like to try grilled pizza, but I have not seen these baked crusts in the stores. Uunless you are referencing those thick ones from Bobili(?), but they do not look like the photos on these recipes.

Sounds like a fancy version of mock pizza. A slice of bread, topped with a slice of cheese, then a slice of tomato sprinkled with oregano, and topped with 2 slices of bacon. Broil till bacon crispy and brown. Eat with fork and knife. I'll try this version.
