Grilled Asian Salmon

Grilled Asian Salmon

This is my go-to easy salmon recipe baked inside or grilled outside. Very moist and tasty. Great served with wild rice and fresh asparagus.

Servings

2
pound salmon fillets
1
tablespoon brown sugar
2
tablespoons olive oil
2
tablespoons rice vinegar
2
tablespoons soy sauce
1
tablespoon sesame oil
2
cloves fresh garlic, minced or chopped fine
3
tablespoons fresh ginger, finely chopped
1/4
cup finely chopped green onions
  1. Line a baking dish with foil. Preheat gas grill to high or temp you normally use for grilliing fish.
  2. Make several slashes in the skinless side of the salmon filets. Place filets skin-side down in foil-lined baking dish.
  3. Mix the brown sugar, olive oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce and sesame oil. Pour the liquid over the salmon.
  4. Sprinkle garlic, ginger, and onions over the salmon; cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours. (If you don't have time to marinade, the salmon still tastes great.)
  5. Place salmon in foil directly on grill. Grill about 10 to 12 minutes or until done'.

You can bake the salmon at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes. Spoon marinade over salmon while it marinades so the marinade has a chance to soak in.
