Hubby and I had this for dinner last night and we loved it. Great spices and makes great comfort food. Just perfect flavor. I would say that in my opinion it is more like a chicken and bean soup and not a chili but it is still a winner for us.

This recipe was so wonderful and easy, I ended up using bone-in thighs since I had no boneless on hand, I just worked the meat off as it cooked, plus I added a little cornmeal for a thickening agent, so it ended up the right consistency!!!

I don't have a dutch oven so I just used my large heavy stockpot and it came out just fine. I made this chili on a rainy day and it was warming, unique, filling, and delicious. My hubby didn't care for the color but there were no other complaints. This is perfect with the Green Chile Cornbread recipe but also great with plain Jiffy.

This is a fabulous chili recipe. I didn't have two cans of great northern beans so I threw in a can of black beans with the one can of great northern's that I had. It was so good my husband asked me to make it again! Thanks for the recipe!

I took this chili to a chili & soup potluck. There were probaly 15-20 different chilis. This one was totally gone while many pans were still very full. It was great. I used flour mixed with cold water to thicken in place of the cornmeal and added a little more cayenne pepper. I also used garlic salt instead of crushed garlic. The flavor was wonderful.
