Green Beans and Corn with Lime Butter

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen cut green beans, thawed
  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen corn, thawed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons grated lime peel
  • Juice of 1 lime

Steps

    In 12-inch skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add green beans, corn and salt. Cook 5 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are thoroughly heated.

    Stir in lime peel and juice. Serve immediately.

  • Substitute your favorite frozen vegetable.
  • Try adding grated orange peel for a different flavor profile.
