Ingredients

lb lean (at least 93%) ground turkey

tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/3
cup olive tapenade
3/4
teaspoon salt

teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/2
cup Yoplait® Greek plain yogurt
1/2
cup sour cream
1/2
cup chopped peeled cucumber
12
mini hamburger buns, split, toasted
Thinly sliced unpeeled cucumber, if desired

  • 1 In large bowl, gently mix the turkey, 4 tablespoons of the parsley, the tapenade, salt and 1/4 teaspoon of the pepper until blended. Shape mixture into 12 small patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
  • 2 Spray grill pan with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Add patties; cook 6 to 8 minutes, turning once, until meat thermometer inserted in center of patties reads 165°F.
  • 3 Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix yogurt, sour cream, chopped cucumber and remaining 2 tablespoons parsley and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. On each bun bottom, place about 1 heaping tablespoon yogurt sauce, 2 cucumber slices, and 1 patty. Cover with bun tops.

To toast mini buns, heat oven to 450°F. Place buns, cut sides up, on cookie sheet. Bake 5 minutes or until warm and lightly browned.

My husband loved these little sliders. I didn't have Olive tapenade or the ingredients to make it so I made do with garlic and olive oil. I used King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls as buns. Yum! I'm going to try making them with olive tapenade. Maybe they could be even better!

Made these little gems earlier this week and they were a huge hit with the entire family. I followed the recipe exactly, except I did grate the cucumber for the sauce instead of chopping. I had leftovers the following day, without the bun, topped with a bit of the sauce, and they reheated beautifully. Delicious without the bun as well for those watching their carbs. Thank you for the yummy recipe!
