The sophisticated pucker of grapefruit adds a new dimension to the classic southern cocktail.

Ingredients

  • Ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/4 cup white rum (2 oz)
  • 3 tablespoons grapefruit juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup club soda
  • Fresh mint sprigs

Steps

  • 1
    Add ice to cocktail glass. In bottom of cocktail shaker, muddle mint leaves. Add ice, rum, grapefruit juice and sugar; shake until blended. Pour into glass, straining out ice and mint. Garnish with mint sprigs.
