Double-Berry Sauce
cup maple-flavored syrup
cup raspberry jam or preserves
cup strawberries, cut into fourths
Whole Wheat Waffles
cup Original Bisquick® mix
cup ground flaxseed or flaxseed meal
cup Gold Medal® whole wheat flour
cup low-fat granola cereal
1 1/2
cups fat-free (skim) milk
tablespoons canola or soybean oil
eggs or 1/2 cup cholesterol-free fat-free egg product
container (6 ounces) Yoplait® strawberry low-fat yogurt (2/3 cup)
  1. Heat syrup and jam to boiling in 1 1/2-quart saucepan, stirring occasionally. Stir in strawberries; remove from heat. Keep warm.
  2. Heat nonstick waffle iron; spray with cooking spray before heating. Mix remaining ingredients in large bowl until blended.
  3. For each waffle, pour 1 cup batter onto center of hot waffle iron; close lid. Bake 2 to 3 minutes or until steaming stops and waffle is golden brown. Carefully remove waffle. Serve with sauce.
