Inspired by southern butter cakes, this delight is blessed with lots of butter and made easily with a foolproof cake mix.

I agree, this was very rich, but so good! I did not care for the nuts in it. Next time, I will leave them out.

This recipe is delicious!! I truly think it is rich enough that you don't need fudge. I will defiantly be making this again!

This recipe came out deliciously. At first we weren't sure if it was fully cooked because edges were golden brown but center still looked like underneath was gooey. But we took cake out after alloted time, and sure enough it was done, just true to its name in that it was ooey-gooey! Don't be alarmed when making the chocolate bottom layer when dough is very dry because there aren't many liquid ingredients. It will still come out delicious.

This is REALLY rich!! It's also really good, and if you're a peanut butter fan you'll be in heaven! I left out the peanuts (didn't want that much crunch) and it was fine without. I also left off the chocolate topping, because that would have made it way too sweet. The only problem I had was that the top layer took much longer to cook than it said, so the bottom got a bit dry. Still, I'd make it again in a heartbeat! Great with vanilla ice cream!

This cake is delicious! I am 7 mos. pregnant and have been in a peanut butter mood. This cake was the perfect solution! Everyone couldn't believe I made it , as I am not normally one to bake. The only thing that gave me trouble was the bottom layer. It was pretty tough to stir, but once it came out it made all the difference! Great dish!
