cup packed brown sugar

cup granulated sugar

cup butter or margarine, softened

cup shortening

teaspoon vanilla

cups Gold Medal® all-purpose flour

cup white vanilla baking chips

cup honey-roasted peanuts

cup fish-shaped pretzels
  1. Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, beat sugars, butter, shortening, vanilla and egg with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, or mix with spoon. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in baking chips, peanuts and pretzels.
  2. Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
  3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until very light brown. Cool 1 to 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.
