Great easy recipe. Made these last night and they turned out delicious. Tender, soft and a nice crust.

I've been making these since the '70's. I've tried other recipes, but always come back to this one. Yummy!

Make these rolls on a regular basis. I add fresh minced garlic to the batter and also use olive oil instead of butter. These rolls make a glorious addition to any dinner.

First time making them was a success, very easy to make, though a bit of labor is required. Inspired by the frozen dough balls at the store, I only baked a few, then took the left over balls, rolled them lightly in flour, put them in a freezer bag and into the freezer. I've been able to take out a couple at a time, butter them up, and allowed to thaw and rise, about five hours, then baked. Good make ahead tip for closer to big family dinners!

Wonderful tasting and great texture. These rolls were easy to assemble and very little effort. Do require a good bit of time for rising. Fun recipe to involve kids in the kitchen.

I've been making this recipe for many more years than I'd like to admit. It is the foundation of my cloverleaf rolls and the most incredible cinnamon bread! In fact, whenever I've made the cinnamon bread, half of it disappears before the bread has cooled, thanks to my four sons. I'm so relieved this recipe is on the site! I moved 5 days ago, and my favorite cookbooks--including the Betty Crocker Cookbook, Hostess Cookbook, Good 'n' Easy (I think that's the name) and Cookie Cookbooks were all accidentally packed in the storage and it will be after the holidays before I find them! Now I'm off to find some of my other tried and true Betty Crocker recipes I've made since I was 19! My mom bought those cookbooks for me when I was 19--and my youngest son is now 20! lol I'm soooo glad Betty Crocker is online! (I'm a new member, btw.)

I make a lot of homemade breads. I am trying to pass my techniques on to my family, so that they rid themselves of the fear of making bread. This is by far the easiest, and most delicious recipe I have found. The instructions are clear, and the results are amazing. My husband thought he was complimenting me when he said that they were so pretty, they lookes like they came from the store. LOL He ate six rolls, for dinner, that night. I also used this recipe for a crust in my chicken pot pie. Very good....VERY GOOD!
