Great snack for a football watching party. This recipe makes a large amount, so if you don't want as much, I would half the recipe. The only change I would make is rather than pout the cereal on top of the melted butter, poor the butter over the already mixed cereal and crackers. I found stirring this difficult in such large quantities.

What a tasty snack! I made this for a Super Bowl party and it was a big hit. Gone by the end of the night! I too was a little apprehensive about the ranch, but the flavor is wonderful. It's really not your standard snack mix and I'm sure that's what makes it so appealing... well, that and the fish shaped pretzels. I was in a rush and made it in the microwave but want to try baking it next time.

I made this recipe for my daughter's kindergarten class on her snack day. (Her teacher encourages a non-sugar snack). I was slightly apprehensive at first about the very ranch flavor, but my 5 year came running in the kitchen when she smelled the aroma. She absolutely loved this! Super easy, and very tasty.
