oz (half of 8-oz package) cream cheese

package (4 oz) chèvre (goat) cheese

teaspoons dried basil leaves

paper lollipop sticks

cup chopped pecans

cup crumbled cooked bacon
  1. Line cookie sheet with waxed paper. In food processor, process cream cheese, chèvre cheese and 1 teaspoon of the basil until well beaten.
  2. Using small cookie scoop, shape mixture into balls; place on cookie sheet. Insert lollipop stick into each ball. Freeze 20 minutes.
  3. In food processor, process pecans, bacon and remaining 1 teaspoon basil with on/off pulses until finely ground. Roll cheese balls in bacon mixture. If needed, press mixture onto balls to stick.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate in covered container until serving time.
