These are delicious if you add a little Apple Pie Spice and a dash of vanilla. It makes them really decadent if you then top with fruit pie filling and whipped cream.

i have made these waffles many times, using almond milk, and instead of oil, i use the same amount of applesauce, i also often add dried fruits, nuts, seeds, and pie seasonings, or sourcream even,when i add sourcream, i add it to the milk so i only have a bit over the amt of milk needed, as the sour cream is thicker. i need to try it with cream cheese still though :) my family loves my waffles! i only use bisquick gluten-free mix for my waffles, bisquits, pancakes.
