box Betty Crocker® Gluten Free brownie mix
Butter and eggs called for on brownie mix box

oz (half of 8-oz package) cream cheese, softened
1/4
cup granulated sugar
2
teaspoons brandy or 1 teaspoon brandy extract
1/2
teaspoon ground nutmeg
1
egg yolk
Powdered sugar, if desired
  1. Heat oven to 375°F. Make brownie mix as directed on box, using butter, eggs and any of the pan choices. Spread half of batter in pan.
  2. In small bowl, stir remaining ingredients except powdered sugar until smooth. Drop cream cheese mixture by spoonfuls onto brownie batter. Spoon remaining brownie batter over cream cheese mixture. With knife, swirl cream cheese mixture through brownie batter for marbled design.
  3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean or almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Store covered in refrigerator.
