Just like the apple streusel cheesecake bars. I would suggest to let the botton cake layer cool just a bit. I didn't and when I spread the cream cheese, the cake layer wanted to lift off. So I just stopped, and let it cool. Great recipe for an alternative to pumpkin pie for those G/F folks at Thanksgiving and EVERYONE will love them.

Made these for the holiday gatherings and they were a hit! Since recipe calls for only 2T of whipping cream I used 2T water mixed w/ dry milk powder instead. (Don't have to deal w/ what to do w/ leftover cream). Will make again and again! YUM!

Very tasty!! I agree with the earlier post it is more pumpkin then cheesecake but that is an easy fix! You could probably fit this in a larger dish and do a little more cream cheese and sugar. I did have to cook it a bit longer but I will be making it again for the holidays!!

These were a huge hit! I used the tip of sparklemom and use the Heath bar crumbles instead of nuts since my mother-in-law doesn't care for nuts. It was a hit (and this is among 4 gluten eaters!). I will definitely be making this again! I did have to bake it about 10 min. longer than directed in the recipe to get the center to set. Easy and delicious and very well received!

I made this dessert on Thanksgiving for a crowd (15) of foodies. The family is in the restaurant business, so we have some spoiled palates here and we all agreed it was one of the most amazing desserts any of us had ever eaten. For me, the nuts in the crust put it over the top.

I am the only member of my family with celiac, but we ALL loved these bars!! My daughter hates nuts, so I subbed those with Heath bar crumbles. I also added a generous pinch of kosher salt to the cake mix--I add it to all of the gluten free mixes to dull that odd aftertaste. My only other suggestion: I added two minutes to the first trip into the oven, and eight to the second. The result: light and crispy crust and topping, salty sweet inside. No one will know these are gluten free!

I made this for a carry inn at work a couple of weeks ago because I never get to have the sweet treats. EVERYONE loved it so so much!! One women said she made them after words and said "I did not need to make them gluten free but I did because yours was so so good!!" I am making 2 for thanksgiving this year!! Thanks!
