Gluten-Free Luscious Layer Bars

Ingredients

box Betty Crocker™ Gluten Free chocolate chip cookie mix
1/2
cup butter, softened
1
egg
1
can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
1
cup white vanilla baking chips
1
cup milk chocolate or semisweet chocolate chips
1
cup flaked coconut
1
cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom only of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms (dough will be crumbly). Using fingers, press dough in bottom of pan. Bake 15 minutes.
  • 2 Drizzle condensed milk evenly over baked crust. Sprinkle with white chips, chocolate chips, coconut and walnuts.
  • 3 Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely, about 2 hours. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.

Expert Tips

Super-rich bars can be cut into mini squares and placed in decorative paper liners for serving.

Skip the cooking spray, and line pan with foil for quick cleanup and easy bar removal.
