There’s no need to roll or shape dough for these sweet Danish-like biscuits. It’s a simple idea with scrumptious results!

Just made these and they turned out so good!! I did put a little extra sugar into the dough to make them a little sweater plus I sprinkled a little sugar on each one before baking. Made 8 drop biscuit and 8 mini one in a muffin pan. Both turned out perfect. Will probably make them in the mini muffin pan from now on since they are the perfect size. My coworkers and husband are going to love these!!!

I used to make these for Christmas morning breakfast when my children were small -- about 25 years ago! They were always a special treat. Somewhere along the way, I lost the recipe and am thrilled to find it. Now, I can make these "danish" for my grandchildren's Christmas breakfast -- or for anytime. My daughters are going to be so surprised when I show up with these for breakfast at the ball field for early Saturday-morning grandchildren's ball games!
