We make these a lot. I prefer them much better than store bought. They come out soft and fluffy for me. I don't had anything to the recipe. I do use more cinnamon sugar though. And we use the milk/powdered sugar for the glaze. I guess it's all preference. But we like them and my kids devour them!!!

Made these, but changed some of it up. Made the dough as called for, but added the egg and 2 tablespoons sour cream. For the filling i used 4tablespoons butter, brown sugar (1/4c),instead of the granulated and much more cinnamon. And i melted 4tablespoons of butter in bottom of pan and sprinkled 2 tablespoons of brown sugar and placed the rolls on top. SOOOOO yummy! I usually make them the old fashion way (which is the best) but these are so quick and easy.

DEEE licious! E Z. We loved this recipe and will use it again. Some in the family say it could use some more sugar in the dough but I don't know I thought it was perfect. Next time I may add a little orange extract to the frosting and some orange zest to the dough. This is a sure fire and quick yummy treat for any occasion.

We LOVE cinnamon rolls in this house and I've always wanted to try and make some from scratch. I don't have the time and/or patience for the old fashioned yeast style, so I LOVED the ease of this recipe, but I do have a few tips to mention. I tried a batch according the original recipe and found that the rolls were pretty dry and a little more of a biscuit texture than roll. So I tried the recommendation of adding an egg and 2 Tbsp of sour cream on the second batch and only baking for 18 minutes. The texture was PERFECT! The only negative about this recipe is the glaze. It tasted like plain powdered sugar. I hated it. I tried adding a little vanilla extract on the second batch, but it didn't improve the taste much. I will definitely make this recipe again, using the egg and sour cream additions. But I have to admit I will be using canned icing until I can find a good recipe for the glaze. Overall, excellent recipe to whip up on Sunday mornings!

The dough of Bisquick is always very dry and crunchy, not soft, I tried it in the pizza and the cinnamon roll and both came out the same, can I add oil or butter to the dough?

Very easy to make and tastes wonderful! I did not have a problem with them being dry and crumbly. I did cut the rolls sightly larger.

Ok so I read all of the review and was a little scared of trying this recipe at first cause everybody's roll came out hard and dry. So I tweek it, and they came out soft and moist. I followed the recipe exactly, but added 1 egg and 2tbsp of sour cream to the dough mix. I only baked them until they started to turn golden brown so they were still pretty pale,so about 18-19 minutes. And i had some betty crocker vanilla frosting so I used that instead of making the glaze. My family loved them and there were no left overs. I hope this helps, enjoy
