These sweet biscuits, loaded with cinnamon-raisin goodness, are great for breakfast or with afternoon tea.

Ingredients

2 1/4
cups Original Bisquick™ mix
2/3
cup milk
1/2
cup raisins
2
tablespoons granulated sugar
1
teaspoon ground cinnamon
Vanilla Icing

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 425ºF.
  • 2 Stir all ingredients except Vanilla Icing until soft dough forms. Drop dough by 8 spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 3 Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Spread Vanilla Icing over warm biscuits. Serve warm.

Expert Tips

Replace raisins with 1/4 cup dried blueberries and 1/4 cup white baking chips for an extraordinary treat.

Take these tasty biscuits up a notch by using dried sweetened cranberries instead of raisins.

Drop biscuits are great for fast, flavorful bread anytime! Make savory drop biscuits by following the directions on the box, except before baking sprinkle the tops with one of the following: poppy seed, celery seed, sesame seed or chopped fresh or freeze-dried chives.
