EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Replace raisins with 1/4 cup dried blueberries and 1/4 cup white baking chips for an extraordinary treat.

Take these tasty biscuits up a notch by using dried sweetened cranberries instead of raisins.

Drop biscuits are great for fast, flavorful bread anytime! Make savory drop biscuits by following the directions on the box, except before baking sprinkle the tops with one of the following: poppy seed, celery seed, sesame seed or chopped fresh or freeze-dried chives.

My daughter's two favorite things are raisins and icing so this was perfect for us. It's really easy and so good. You have to try them.

My girls were off school and I was making scrambled eggs with ham and cheese and realized I wasn't in the mood for just regualar old toast on the side. These were so quick and easy (I'm quite the novice so easy is important). I can't wait to make them again. We had a jar of whipped cream frosting that we put on them but they'd be good without too.
