I prepared this recipe as written with 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger...added minced onion & minced garlic to the beef while cooking along with two tablespoons of low sodium soy sauce ... it's awesome!!! I took Chuckles437 advice & add the pepper flakes to each individual serving!!!

didn't have the box of rice a roni, so made my owh with broken vermicilli, used beef bullion (low sodium) added frozen peas cause that is what I had...used grater on ginger...so easy, also added some pepper flakes as I like spicy. Going to do this one again so easy on hot summer days.
