Ginger Rum Punch

Ingredients

tablespoons (1 oz) dark rum

tablespoons (1 oz) light rum

teaspoon chopped fresh gingerroot
1 1/2
tablespoons (3/4 oz) lime juice
1 1/2
tablespoons (3/4 oz) orange juice
Ice
1/4
cup (2 oz) cranberry juice
1/8
teaspoon ground allspice

  • 1 In cocktail shaker, add dark rum and light rum. Add gingerroot, then use end of wooden spoon to muddle ginger, releasing its flavor into rum.
  • 2 Add lime juice, orange juice and ice; shake until cold. Pour into cocktail glass filled with ice. Slowly pour cranberry juice into glass; garnish with allspice.

If you like it on the sweeter side, add 1 to 2 teaspoons powdered sugar to the cocktail shaker before shaking.
