teaspoons finely chopped gingerroot

cloves garlic, finely chopped

cup chicken broth

package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
Assorted raw vegetables and crackers, if desired
  1. Heat oil in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook onions, gingerroot and garlic in oil about 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients except vegetables. Cook about 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until hot.
  3. Serve hot dip with vegetables.
