Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive or vegetable oil
  • 8 medium green onions, sliced ( 1/2 cup)
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped gingerroot
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
  • 1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • Assorted raw vegetables and crackers, if desired

Steps

    Heat oil in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook onions, gingerroot and garlic in oil about 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender.

    Stir in remaining ingredients except vegetables. Cook about 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until hot.

    Serve hot dip with vegetables.
