EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Boost the flavor of this easy fruit dip when you use lemon yogurt instead of plain.

To toast almonds, heat oven to 350°F. Bake in an ungreased pan about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.

I am all about flavor, and this dip did not disappoint me! The ginger and pineapple give this dip a refreshing zing and it was the hit of the party. It was a very nice change from the typical winter-types of appetizers during the holiday season...I will definitely make this a regular recipe!

This recipe is a light and fruity alternative to other traditional appetizers. I made this for a party of about 30 people. Almost everyone enjoyed it and I was asked to bring it to another party i would attending the next week. And others asked for the recipe.

We took this to our concert/picnic outing. Everyone in our group loved it. Mom and I have been eating the leftover dip for breakfast with our home grown oranges (wow!). Impressive look and taste. One improvement would be lemon juice to keep the fruit from turning brown instead of the orange which didn''t work for us. We added brown sugar so the discoloring wouldn''t show. We also added strawberries and honeydew melon for dipping. Too much apple I would say but my mom loves apples so it is a matter of taste.
