Mouth watering chocolate cookie made using Betty Crocker® chocolate chip cookie mix.
cup butter or margarine, softened
pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ chocolate chip cookie mix
cup unsweetened baking cocoa
container (1 lb) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy coconut pecan frosting
Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, stir together butter and egg. Stir in cookie mix, cocoa and water until soft dough forms.
Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart.
Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until cookies are set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 15 minutes.
Generously frost cookies with coconut pecan frosting.
To help with mixing the softened butter and egg, try cutting the butter into small pieces.
Using a small ice-cream scoop, especially one with a spring release, is an easy way to portion the dough onto the cookie sheet.
