Ingredients

4 1/2: cups Corn Chex

4 1/2: cups Rice Chex

1 1/2: cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

1: can Coconut Pecan creamy ready-to-spread frosting.

2: cups Shredded Coconut

1 1/2: cups Powdered Sugar

Directions

1 Heat frosting and chocolate chips in microwave until chocolate is melted and smooth.
2 Pour chocolate mixture over Chex cereal and toss until chocolate is covering all of the cereal.
3 Place Chex mixture in large zipper plastic bag along with coconut and sugar. Shake bag until cereal is covered in sugar and coconut
4 Place cereal on baking sheet until cool. Then store in airtight container.

This recipe is fantastic. However, I'm pretty sure there is an error. I believe you are supposed to lay the frosting/chocolate coated Chex on the cookie sheet to dry BEFORE putting it in the plastic bag to coat with coconut and powdered sugar. Otherwise the powdered sugar simply dissolved into the melted frosting/chocolate mix. Also, next time I make this, I will use bittersweet chips instead of semi-sweet because the frosting is already extremely sweet. I recommend throwing in the extra pecans.
