I had to try this recipe right away; so I used Russet potatoes put them in a covered baking dish in the oven AND they were delicious!! Can't wait to try on the grill with New Potatoes :)

Can I boil the potatoes prior to putting them in the wok? or can I just cit them into fourths and put them in the oven? HELP!!

I think this was great. I was afraid there might be too much seasonings but it really was not. I think next time I might cook potatoes in microwave for a min or two. This should take care of the few potatoes not being cooked enough. I also think the cook time needs to be at least 5min. longer.

I love potatoes with garlic and cumin and fix them often (potato freak here) and yes sweet potatoes are great as well fixed with these seasonings, but I don't always have cilantro (one of my many weaknesses & adore it), so sometimes I have to used dried parsley flakes and I always cute my potatoes thinner than just quartered. And you can try cutting them in rounds instead of wedges, easier to me to turn over and I like more seasoning covering mine.

These where great and packed with flavor that impressed my guests... It was a great spin on the traditional potatoe recipes bringing a little bit of the eastern world into the meal. I actually cooked it in a large wok on my stovetop for those indoor days.
