I sprayed the cups and the brownies still stuck to them. Plus my ganache topping was real runny at first and got hard too fast. I probably just need more practice with it. They were messy but still looked impressive (until people tried to peel the paper cups off). I highly recommend NOT using the paper cups and just spraying the pan.

I greased the pan with shortening and then dusted with cocoa powder. After baking and cooling a bit, I gently ran a knife around the edge and they easily came right out of the pan!

These were easy and a great treat! The guys loved the bites. Buying a good quality mini paper cup was key...no sticking! I also put 2-3 M&M's into the dough before cooking for a surprise bite.

These were tasty... I burned the first batch, but luckily the recipe made 24 more. I watched them more carefully & they turned out perfect. I had twelve for dinner and 24 were plenty; must of the guys had two & there were even five left. I did splurge and pay $4.99 for a half pint of raspberries to put on top! Good, easy recipe that I will certainly make again!

These tasty bites were a hit, unfortunately they stuck to the paper baking cups. I sprayed with cooking spray as per directions and then followed the directions. This was the second time I tried this recipe, first using foil cup liners (not sprayed) and the second time I purchased paper baking cups (sprayed with cooking spray). I guess I will have to do it next time without liners.

This ganache topping works well on the brownie bites that Sam's Club sells in a tub if you don't have time to make the brownies.

I needed some simple but elegant and this recipe was it. Only problem, I didn't have a mini cupcake pan. No problem! I made the brownies in a 13x9 pan, then, used a plastic cap from an [food item] aerosol spray can as a cutter. As the cutouts cooled on wired rack, I topped them with the ganache. Everything worked perfectly. So perfectly, that this is the way I have made them since! Only I splurged and bought a set of biscuit cutters to use!

I had to make up something quick for work so I cooked the brownies in a rectangular pan and just put the ganache on top. They were a hit.
