Game-Day Black Bean Hummus

A game-day dip that will score big with your friends! We pureed black beans into a spicy, garlicky hummus that's ready in only 10 minutes.

cans (15 oz each) Progresso™ black beans, drained
small sweet onion
to 4 cloves roasted garlic
jalapeño chile, seeds removed
Dash salt
tablespoons fresh lime juice (2 medium)
cup olive oil
avocado, pitted, peeled and diced
cup chopped tomato
tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
Tortilla chips

  • 1 Place beans in food processor or industrial-strength blender. Add onion, garlic, chile, salt, lime juice and oil; puree until smooth, adding additional oil, if needed, until mixture is a smooth consistency.
  • 2 Spoon mixture into serving dish. Top with avocado, tomato and cilantro. Serve immediately with tortilla chips.

Heat It Up! Toss a cup of pepper Jack cheese into your black bean mixture, then microwave until melted for a warm, spicy bean and cheese dip.
