Made these for the second year, they continue to be a huge hit. I think the only downside is they are a little big, can be rich but great to share! I experimented with fillings this year. I did 1/3 with peanut butter as in the recipe, but another 1/3 with Nutella (about the same amount as the peanut butter) and the last 1/3 with caramel. Used a little more than the filling measurement given. Short on time, I just drizzled some yellow candy melts over the top to decorate. I recently made another BC truffle recipe that was really just a cake ball with another name. I much prefer these. They are a little bit tedious what with smooshing them out and wrapping up the filling, but it is not too bad, and worth it. And they make enough that you can pick out the best, eggiest looking ones to present.

Not impressed. Taking forever, chocolate mixture is sticking to everything. Tasted one, and they are okay. So not worth the hassle. Tips on how to keep from sticking would be very helpful.

Kamjaz how do we get to see your picture of these eggs?? Would love to see how these actually turn out made by us novice people...sure Betty Crocker can do it beautifully..but I want to try...but afraid I might just end up with a mess..have made this recipe for fudge and it is delicious..now not sure how it would work making it into an egg and then filling it with FLUFF and coating...how long did it take you to make them...and how many did you get out of the recipe??

I have made two batches of these eggs and they have both been delicious. I made some with marshmallow and some with peanut butter. The PB lovers in my family actually prefer the PB version.
