Fruit Parfaits

Five ingredients and less than 10 minutes is all you’ll need to wrap up dessert made using fruits topped with almonds.

Ingredients

cup chopped cantaloupe
1/2
cup sliced strawberries
1/2
cup sliced kiwifruit or honeydew melon
1/2
banana, sliced
1
cup vanilla artificially sweetened low-fat yogurt
2
tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted*
  • 1 Alternate layers of fruit and yogurt in 2 goblets or parfait glasses, beginning and ending with fruit.
  • 2 Top with almonds.

Expert Tips

*To toast nuts, bake uncovered in ungreased shallow pan in 350° oven about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Or cook in ungreased heavy skillet over medium-low heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring frequently until browning begins, then stirring constantly until golden brown.
