I got this recipe from my mom and never liked it as a kid and now has become one of my favorites!

Medium Cabbage Cut into 2 inch pieces

Medium Onion - Chopped

lb Bacon

bag Wide Egg Noodles
  1. Cut bacon into 1 inch pieces and brown in large deep skillet over medium heat. Do not drain.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook for 3-4 mnts.
  3. Add cabbage and stir bacon and onion together. Cover. Steam with lit on over medium heat until crisp tender.
  4. Meanwhile boil egg noodles. Drain.
  5. Add egg noodles and stir all together. Salt and pepper to taste.
